There
is but one thing that sets some human beings apart
from the rest of the animal population of the earth,
that is,
the ability to behave with selfless compassion.
The ability to comprehend and assimilate the
concept of the brotherhood of all mankind.
Without compassion, a human being is little more than an animal fighting for its' survival.
A love that is not
based on
compassion
is
self serving dependency.
Some human beings never develop compassion, perhaps due to inherited self centred behaviours supported by societies in which, any dogmatic ideal, other than truly serving "the good of all" can be proven to be the main cause of continuation of the self centered loveless condition (e.g. capitalism, communism, religion, socialism).
The being that is unable to grasp and use, assimilate, the concept of compassion will lead a loveless existance.
