Biosecurity Minister Jim Anderton said last night that a small number of people were mildly affected by the spraying and some were relocated, receiving any necessary medical attention and being monitored.

Get your facts right Jim, perhaps you might like read the list of symptoms at the bottom of this page. Are you ready to take the responsibility for your part in killing children and good people even if it is only "a small number" Jim? because that is what you have done. Soon you will find it is a great deal more than "a small number"!

Jim you liken the moths to foot and mouth, if that is your version of scientific prowess we have more serious problems than moths or foot and mouth. Foot and mouth disease is immensely scientifically different from all moths, moths can be caught, tracked and contained by pheromone trapping.
It is not necessary to spray the population to stop foot and mouth, (nor should it be to stop the moths incidently), your analogy is seriously (Jim's favourite word) in a vain attempt to gain credibility) flawed Jim.
The female painted apple moth doesn't even fly Jim so they don't venture far from where they originate unless someone helps them! I wonder who that could have been? Besides not being able to fly ,their preferred food source is the black wattle, not pine forests or garden produce, black wattle is not a commercially cultivated product, where is the ten billion dollar risk Jim? Moths have some way of magically turning into foot and mouth disease according to Jim and his advisors.

If you had questioned the health issues as you would question someone selling you a car Jim and given it equally serious thought you would have easily come to know these sprays are dangerous in chemical nature and genetically combined with other DNA from organisms that are extremely harmful to people. If you didn't know Jim you have been remiss, if you didn't bother to find out makes you both remiss and a liar.
Jim, you lie by omission of facts, your statement that "there are no known long term effects".
Making the statement at all gives a false impression that there are no long term effects, the fact that has been omitted is that no long term studies have been done so no facts are known about the long term effects that does not mean there are none and in truth Jim, you would have told people there had been no studies done. Simon Hales raised concerns on your and government's behalf about long term effects, he was ostracized, ignored and now out of harms way in Britain, thanks for trying anyway Simon. Simon provides statistical data only on asthma/pneumonia (here) There needs to be other studies on many other symptoms overlooked by this study.

Undeniable evidence that BT toxins are harmful to man were published in 1999 - Field workers exposed to Bt spray experienced allergic skin sensitization and induction of IgE and IgG antibodies to the spray, a Bt strain that caused severe human necrosis (tissue death)

There is also undeniable evidence that the plasmids of Bacillis thuringiensis, bacillis anthracis and bacillis cereus species may readily be transferred from one species to another.

Interesting that no-one has mentioned the environment yet, the runoff usually ends up in our sea, there are warnings even on the manufacturers safety label that foray kills marine life, ask or read Floor Anthoni about the degredation of Auckland waters since spraying officially began. Was the toxic algal bloom just coincidence when it occured a few months after spraying started?

You seriously regard the New Zealand public as stupid don't you Jim, company secrets outweigh the power and integrity of government? yeah right!
These companies own the patents to their concoctions so that nobody can replicate them without paying royalties, their patent data is freely available on the web, again you lie Jim! The truth is, you didn't want us to know the truth!

If the government spent $20 million on a health service for these areas, don't you want to know where the money went Jim? because it sure as hell didn't go to the people who were effected and it still isn't.
These people are still paying for doctors bills for useless drugs and operations out of their own pockets because up until now they have not been able to prove that their ills are related to the spray, and the spineless unimaginitive medical fraternity won't stand up and say anything against it either.
Those suffering and those with dead relatives can't individually prove that the spray has made them ill or killed them because they do not have access to independent test equipment or the money to afford it.
You and your coleagues have brought the medical profession into serious disrepute because they are not allowed to say "it is a side effect of the spray" and none of them seem to have the intelligence to do their own research on it.
The reluctance of both the government statistics and medical boards to release or admit to having statistics on ailments and symptoms of any kind obviates the extent of gagging being carried out. We know they are lying simply because we know the information is collected and stored in databases, even if only to keeping statisticians in work!
If DHB's or government statistics have no figures on how many new diabetes patients were seen by doctors over the last year then someone is not doing their job properly are they!
We know you are not doing your job for the ordinary people of New Zealand Jim, you should be fired.

I have met plenty of ill people here who would gladly give you and quite a few others, a dose of each variant of foray straight in the face rather than mess about with the legal technicalities Jim, these people are hurting badly and some even dying as you read this.
